Women in our community are the backbone of Families. They are the ones striving for the upliftment of the family & society.
Unfortunately, they are depending on Banks, Finance, Private agencies, etc for Interest Based Loan even for a very small requirement of the family such as, School fee, Uniforms, medical needs, home utilities, etc
This Interest based Loans are making the women suffer due to unbearable interest rates & inability of timely repayment due to uncertain Jobs. This further leads to an economic crisis in the families & backward community

What do SHGs do?
Usually women depend on men for their financial requirements. But in many unprivileged families, women face hectic financial problem. There are thousands of cases among ladies where they borrow money on Interest basis for the education of their children, books purchase, house repair, toilet construction, tap water connection, small health treatments, marriages of their children and other basic necessities.In most of these cases, they are not able to return the loans they borrowed. Due to this, they end up in a very bad social & economic crisis.
To address this, Infomate Foundation has plans to set up Self Help Ladies Groups and offer Interest Free Loans to the deserving cases. Currently 25 SHGs are active in Belthangady and are now concentrating on providing Govt. subsidy for ventures & small business like cattle farming of goat, sheep, cow breeding and vegetable cultivations.Infomate Foundation provides information to ladies on these Govt. facilities and helps them to submit online applications.
Support Women Empowerment through SHGs
We are looking forward for Contributions from donors & wellwishers to help these underprivileged families overcome these f inancial crisis by providing INTEREST FREE LOANS for their basic needs. Individuals may contribute for a member, a group or any desired amount to run the SHGs. All contributions will be solely used for SHGs only.
